A great trainer regime will jump start your season
People love to hate on the trainer and it's true it can quickly earn its nickname "the paincave". But if you want to get a jump start on your summer race competition - or just your own personal bests for the season - putting the time in now is essential. If that's not a good enough reason, keep in mind that trainer riding is the by far the most efficient way to train on a bike and offers quicker gains than training on the road.

Dry n Dusty Season Kick Off
Cross is HERE. Get in to it! And with that we look back and celebrate this year's season kick off of the US Pro Cross Calendar in Rochester, NY.
A dry and dusty start to the year was in store for Team Cannondale p/b Cyclocrossworld.com as temperatures soared into the 90's on this humid September day (that's over 30 Celcius). Racing took place in a new venue at Genesee Valley Park, with half the course grassy fields where speeds were high and the other half twisty wooded trails with steep run ups.
Light Layers for the September Sweet Spot
September - it's the month-long sweet spot between summer vacations and cozy nights spent under blankets. It's also one of our favourite months for training outdoors. The kids are back in school. Trails are a little quieter. The air is crisp and refreshing, even in the afternoon. But at some point during this magic month, the mornings get noticeably chilly. Now is the time for transitional weather layers - the jackets, hoodies, capris and tops that will keep you moving outside all season long.
